Overview:
We are seeking an efficient and detail-oriented Expeditor to join our team. As an Expeditor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of food and beverages from the kitchen to the customers. Responsibilities:
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, servers, and management to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages
- Ensure all orders are accurate and complete before they are served to customers
- Coordinate with the kitchen team to prioritize orders based on customer preferences and special requests
- Monitor food preparation and cooking times to ensure timely delivery
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the expediting area
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or culinary environment is preferred
- Strong knowledge of food service operations and procedures
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and resolve issues efficiently
- Experience in bussing or hotel industry is a plus
