Description
POSITION SUMMARY
Ensures compliance with established internal inventory controls and procedures. Performs the
daily cycle counting process per our ERP system. Verifies skid counts, cycle counts and
reconciles variances. Makes bin corrections and moves when needed in the course of the cycle
counting processes. Assists in bin organization and reorganization for systems where FIFO is
utilized. Coordinates and manages inventory movement and consolidation projects to ensure
inventory accuracy. Works closely with all material handlers, receiving department personnel,
warehouse team leaders.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Responsible for our overall cycle count accuracy.
- Reconciling count differences and makes adjustments when warranted.
- Investigates the Root Cause of inventory discrepancies and reviews with warehouse team
leaders.
- Makes bin location corrections and moves as needed in the course of the cycle counting
process.
- Maintains clear and accurate records.
- Organizes daily activities of all aspects of the Cycle Counting procedure.
- Performs visual inventory checks and requests Cycle Count reports for any potential
variances
- Investigates differences between Current Quantity and Counted.
- Assists in other areas of operations.

Requirements
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Inventory or production background preferred
- Demonstrates sufficient math, reading, and computer skills to perform job tasks
- Excellent oral and written instructions, including special instructions
- Computer skills, Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook
- Organized, process and detail oriented
- Tow motor experience

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- Required:
- • High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Preferred:
- • 1-2 years Warehousing/Distribution experience
- POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
- • Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week with possible overtime
