Wild Salsa is currently seeking top talent to join our growing team. Wild Salsa brings regional Mexican flavors to a menu ranging from à la carte street tacos to platos fuertes like our Lamb Shank Barbacoa for dinner. All of our food is made from scratch each day, using locally sourced fresh ingredients, providing an experience unlike any other. Have a seat at the bar, and try a Wild Rita with roasted pineapple and jalapeño infused tequila – or try a tequila flight, selecting from the more than 100 tequilas on our shelves.
Hosts are expected to embody the hospitality, charm, and professionalism of our organization. Your role is to ensure that all guests are greeted promptly in a warm and courteous manner. This individual must be pleasant, conscientious, and professional with excellent hospitality instincts and drive to provide excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Greet incoming and departing Guests warmly with a genuine smile and eye contact; escort them to assigned dining area; present menus; announce waiter's name
- Use visual cues to seat Guests in either the bar or dining area depending on their preference
- Inform Guest of current promotion and who will be serving them to ensure a smooth handoff to the service staff
- Answer incoming calls to the restaurant and provide appropriate service
- Manage the flow of Guests into the Dining and Bar areas, provide accurate wait times to incoming Guests if appropriate
- Observant to Guests' needs throughout dining experience to ensure they receive high-quality service
- Protect establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol control policies
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Requirements:
- Must be upbeat, outgoing, and positive
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts
- 1 year experience in a fine-dining restaurant preferred
- Must be able to assist guests and possess great guest relation skills
- Ability to work positively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand/walk and stay focused and alert for extended periods of time
- Ability to effectively communicate on the telephone.
