The Role

 

Finance Department is looking for a Royalty Administrator to join our Finance team! Reporting to Royalty Manager of Finance, you will be responsible for administration of the Company’s royalties related to consumer products and home entertainment.

What You’ll Do:

  • Conduct preliminary analysis of electronic data and paper reports received from clients to ensure accuracy of collection based on licensing agreement, knowledge of catalogue, and sales history
  • Develop relationships and maintain regular contact with clients to ensure timely receipt of all royalty reports
  • Prepare analysis of royalty receipts by client and/or product for senior management
  • Capture and input data into rights management database
  • Support month-end closing and audit preparations
  • Collaborate with other departments, as needed, to resolve open issues

 

What You’ll Bring:

  • Experience working in an Accounting or Finance role
  • Education in Accounting or Finance, an asset
  • Knowledge of consumer product royalties is required
  • Strong computer skills required including solid working knowledge of spreadsheet programs. (i.e. MS Excel)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Flexible work style:  able to adjust to multiple demands and a changing and fast-paced environment
  • Strong organization skills are required
  • Ability to work as part of a team or independently
