What are the responsibilities and job description for the Building Maintenance Repairer position at Wildwood Housing Authority?
The WHA is seeking an experienced Building Maintenance Repairer. The ideal candidate must demonstrate a working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, mechanical, custodial and carpentry work. Must be able to troubleshoot and perform tasks with minimal supervision. Must be available for on-call responsibilities after hours, including evening, weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities:
- Perform regular maintenance checks on the building.
- Be familiar with all the building's security features.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on the air conditioning and heating systems.
- Perform regular inspections of hallways, stairwells, bathrooms, and other facilities.
- Perform repairs and maintenance of apartments.
