Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Presser to join our team. The Presser will be responsible for ensuring that all garments are properly pressed and finished to meet quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Operate pressing equipment to press garments such as suits, dresses, and shirts
- Inspect finished items to ensure they meet quality standards
- Identify and address any stains or damages on garments before pressing
- Follow proper procedures for different fabric types to prevent damage
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Skills:
- Experience in dry cleaning or laundry services preferred
- Knowledge of basic math for measuring and calculating pressing times
- Strong customer service skills to interact with clients effectively
- Attention to detail to ensure garments are properly pressed and finished
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
