WILL Technology, Inc. (WTI) has an immediate need for a skilled, full-time Warrant Officer Instructor to join our growing team at Fort Rucker in Southeast Alabama. In this position, the Warrant Officer Instructor will facilitate academic training, development, and mentorship for senior leadership training within the US Army. Candidates in the Dothan, AL, Montgomery, AL, Columbus, GA, and Pensacola, FL areas are strongly encouraged to apply. Relocation may be available.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
In this role, the Warrant Officer Instructor supports the US Army Warrant Officer Career College (WOCC). This includes pre-commission education and training to enlisted Soldiers and intermediate and senior-level Professional Military Education (PME) to Army Warrant Officers. The ideal candidate will perform support services and assistance in maintaining the relevancy of instructional contact. He/She provides subject-matter expertise in the areas of the following:
- leadership;
- international strategic studies;
- joint, interagency, and multinational operations; history; and
- communications and management systems.
MINIMUM EDUCATION/TRAINING & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Information Technology, or a related technical field
- Military education: WOILE, Command and General Staff College, at a minimum intermediate level
- Certification in Knowledge Management and/or Master Resilience Trainer is preferred but not required
- Completion of certification in instructor certification courses such as Foundation Instructor/Facilitator Course (FIFC), Army Basic Instructor Course (ABIC), Small Group Instructor Training Course (SGITC) within past five years may be considered as equivalents to the current approved course
- Working knowledge of facilitating ArmyU-provided instructor/facilitator course or ArmyU-approved equivalent course (e.g., Common Faculty Development Instructor course)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in curriculum development or instructional design
- Prior completion of certifications in the areas of Knowledge Management, Master Resilience Trainer (MRT), Sexual Harassment Assault Program (SHARP), Victims Advocate, and/or Military History Instructor Course (MHIC) is highly desired
- Great attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational and communications skills
