Our team of Building and Safety professionals maintain current certifications and attend training on a regular basis to stay current with industry technologies and standards.
Willdan Engineering currently has an opening for a Building and Safety Plans Examiner in the Milwaukie area. The qualified individual will be responsible for building plan review of commercial, industrial, and other structures for compliance with codes, ordinances, and applicable regulations.
Requirements:
- 2 – 5 years relevant experience
- Wisconsin Licensed Professional Engineer or Architect
- ICC Plans Examiner Certification
- Wisconsin Commercial Building Inspector Endorsement (or ability to obtain)
- Municipal experience highly desirable
- Thorough knowledge of building codes
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
