Sr. Compensation Analyst
About the Team
You will be part of the Compensation team responsible for designing, analyzing, and executing our compensation programs. Our job is to ensure that WSI has competitive pay packages to retain and attract talent across the organization throughout several brands. We also respond to requests and escalations regarding base pay, variable pay, long-term incentives, and market pricing.
About the Role
As a key member of the HR organization at WSI, the Senior Compensation Analyst will play a critical role in helping design and administer our base pay, variable pay and equity compensation programs to ensure we attract, retain, and motivate our associates. You will have an opportunity to take the lead on the annual compensation cycle set-up and administration in Oracle, with assistance from the Director of Compensation.

- Participate in annual compensation planning to include preparations in Oracle, data audits, and merit/bonus/LTI recommendations.
- Provide compensation consultation and training to leaders, HR business partners, and Talent Acquisition.
- Assess existing individual job families/groups and make recommendations for improvement.
- Mentor junior analysts.
- Partner with HRIM on the enhancement of compensation process, system implementation and automation.
- Create user guides and education materials for various audiences as the need surfaces.
- Develop and document compensation program guidelines and policies.
- May participate in and/or conduct salary surveys and upload results into PayFactors.
- Identify issues or disconnects in the existing process but more importantly, recommend corrective or alternative actions to resolve problems.
- Stay apprised of relevant compensation laws and regulations to ensure we stay compliant.
- Complete special projects and perform general analysis on an ad hoc basis.
- Review requests for new or revised jobs, audit jobs for content, prepare job descriptions, and determine appropriate salary grade assignments.
- Assist in the development and administration of various incentive and other compensation programs, including long-term incentives and executive compensation.
- Maintain company relationships with various outside vendors and service providers.
- Complete special projects and perform general analysis on an ad hoc basis.
- Perform other duties as assigned

We’re excited about you because... (Essential Functions and Experience)
- Bachelor's degree in a business-related field, or equivalent, plus 5 years general compensation experience including familiarity with statutory requirements governing compensation administration.
- Strong interest in expanding knowledge and skillset to cover broad-based compensation, executive compensation and stock administration.
- Solid computer skills including advanced knowledge of Excel and working knowledge of HRIS systems.
Technical Competencies required (technical Skills):
- Oracle Cloud experience preferred
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to type on a keyboard and operate a PC
- Ability to converse over a telephone
- Ability to transport materials or equipment or lifting, moving, carrying objects up to 50 pounds on a limited basis
