About the Team
You will be part of the Digital Marketing team responsible for developing strategies and optimizing William-Sonoma, Inc.'s digital spend across all 8 Brands and International efforts. WSI manages all large digital programs in-house, and this role is critical in ensuring the accurate and timely execution for the display channel as well as reporting across all digital programs.
About the Role
Williams-Sonoma, Inc. is looking for a talented Analyst, Ad Operations to manage the technical media operations for display campaigns and reporting dataflows in our reporting BI tool across all brands under the Williams-Sonoma, Inc. portfolio. You will work directly in the ad server to generate IOs, schedule partner flighting, and upload/traffic assets across multiple ad formats. You will also work in the BI tool Domo to connect, transform, and visualize data sources needed to efficiently report on campaign performance. You will work closely with the Display Strategy and Programmatic Media Buying teams on all pre-flight site tagging, creative tags, and verification wrappers, and post-launch data feed requirements and reporting. You will be heavily involved in technical implementations and frequent troubleshooting, so someone with a passion to solve problems in a fast-paced environment will thrive.
Responsibilities
- Setup and execute digital media campaigns using our ad server for IO creation, creative and placement trafficking, and partner flighting in a timely and accurate manner
- Ensure seamless delivery of campaigns by generating and maintaining various reporting dashboards and visualizations in Domo (our BI tool)
- Setup data connections and build out ETL and SQL dataflows in Domo to track campaign performance in automated dashboards.
- Design, create, and maintain reporting cards within Domo that will be viewed by all leadership, digital teams, and brand partners
- Ensure that all campaigns are setup accurately and tracking key KPIs by working alongside external vendors and internal IT team for tag implementation pre and post-launch by pulling data to validate
- Test and QA the functionality of creative, ensuring technical specs are met and that ads appear correctly and in the desired formats.
- Perform QA for all campaigns that go live and monitor/troubleshoot any inaccuracies or problems
- Maintain strong troubleshooting (QA) expertise at the campaign, line item and creative level
- Own the relationship with our verification/brand safety partner, and ensure all campaigns have blocking/monitoring implemented correctly
- Be a champion for our brand, ensuring our brand safety profiles are always up-to-date with sensitive subject matter
- Stay apprised of current and new functionality and/or metrics of digital platforms and successfully deploy on relevant campaigns
Criteria
- At least 1 year minimum experience in digital marketing; Agency/DSP experience a plus.
- Expertise in Google CM or similar ad serving tool; familiarity with a DSP platform a plus.
- Intermediate to Advanced MS Excel skills (Pivot tables, VLookup, Conditional formatting); data blending tools such as Alteryx or domo a plus.
- Prior experience updating and creating reporting dashboards within a BI tool like Domo, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Knowledge of pixel technology such as HTML or Javascript; familiarity with dynamic macro's a plus
- Experience with Ad Verification partners such as Doubleverify, IAS, or Moat.
- Well-organized, detail oriented and able to quickly react to changing priorities.
- Excellent analytical, technical, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to synthesize and state detail to various levels of the organization.
- Team player with an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Experience writing SQL or other programming languages.
Technical Competencies required:
- Expertise in DCM or other ad serving technology (ad server logic, redirects, pixels and cookies)
- Experience in troubleshooting ad serving technical issues, such as delivery investigation, third party rich media issues, understanding & debugging 3rd party pixels
- Understanding of programmatic tools and tactics, such as DSPs and DMPs.
- Working knowledge of 3rd party ad safe/viewability technologies
- Strong MS Excel skills and analytical ability
- Knowledge of site tagging using Google Tag Manager or Tealium
