Our organization is seeking highly motivated college graduates to be a part of our Early Career Professional Development Program. You’ll build breadth early in your engineering career by rotating into three (3) twelve-month rotations throughout our enterprise and gaining exposure to many critical areas of Williams. Rotations are designed to develop problem solving and technical skills. Rotations may be in our corporate office, regional headquarters or field offices throughout the country. As an Engineer I - Rotational supporting our operations, engineering, construction and project management areas, you will dive in with your team to learn all about how they support our business. Some of the work you will be doing includes: Assisting with operational issues Supporting project management of capital and expense projects Responsibilities/Expectations: Develops innovative solutions through creative problem-solving in order to resolve sophisticated challenges Identifies relevant economic and environmental aspects of assigned projects Provides support to operations through technical services, tactical projects or maintenance and reliability of assets Develops understanding and use of policies, procedures, and guidelines established by organization or governing agencies Maintains focus on meeting/exceeding customer requirements and expectations Other duties as assigned Required Qualifications: Required: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master's degree within an engineering subject area (chemical, civil, electrical, energy, environmental, industrial, mechanical or petroleum preferred) in your final year of studies Required: Legally authorized to work in the U.S. and able to relocate to office or asset locations within U.S. Required: Demonstrated strong performance and leadership through prior internship, work experience and campus involvement Other Requirements: Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority Ability to work in a team environment for a matrix organization, learn fast and achieve results Self-starter with demonstrated aspiration, agility and competence Passion for continuous improvement Ability to explain sophisticated, technical information in a simple, non-technical way Excellent verbal/written communication skills; comfortable interacting with employees of all levels, vendors and customers Strong problem-solving, analytical and creative-thinking skills Demonstrates an intermediate-advanced level of using Microsoft Office Applications and engineering software Preferred: FE Certification About Tulsa: Our corporate headquarters is located in downtown Tulsa, Oklahoma, the 2nd largest city in Oklahoma and the 47th most populous in the U.S. Tulsa is known as the Mother of "The Mother Road" - Route 66, and boasts impressive art deco architecture, the #1 city park in the U.S. (The Gathering Place) and is a great venue for live music.
