POSITION SUMMARY:
The Customer Experience Ambassador will ensure that customers awaiting completion of their vehicle’s service in the customer’s lounge have a top-tier customer experience. They will update the customers regarding the status of their vehicle's service and be a source of information about the dealership for the customer. The Ambassador will be a high-energy, self-motivated multi-tasker with superior communication skills who can resolve issues of concern brought forth by the customer related to their visit. Duties will include interacting with customers and department personnel throughout the dealership.
Realize that during any interaction with customers, the employee should remember the HERO (Helpful, Exceeds expectations, Represents us well, takes Ownership) program. Also, the customer is the highest priority of any employee of Wilson County Motors.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
Perform all duties professionally, representing the company in a positive light.
Greet each customer by name as they enter the customer service lounge/waiting area.
Face-to-name recognition of each customer during the day will be an essential skill set.
Introduce customers to amenities available in the waiting area.
Explain your role to the customer and your partnership with their Service Advisor.
Be cognizant of guests with children or confined visitors and provide appropriate attention.
Ensure all guests are treated with the highest respect in clean and safe surroundings.
Ensure a clean and safe environment. Issues needing attention should be reported to the Property Maintenance Manager immediately.
Utilizing Company software and tablet, track the progress of repairs, and inform the customer of the estimated completion time.
If applicable, coordinate loaner car requests when repairs require a multi-day stay.
Verify that work orders match the customer’s expectation of what services will be performed during their visit.
You are the liaison between the customer and Service Advisor, guaranteeing the customer clearly understands the services have been completed and resolving customer concerns. Partner with the Service Advisor and Service Director to achieve a positive outcome.

REQUIRED SKILLS and ABILITIES
Exemplary communication skills.
Strong ability to articulate information accurately to customers and service staff.
Basic knowledge of using a computer at work (Computer Literate)
High school diploma, GED, or work education equivalent
Basic mathematical abilities (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
A basic understanding of Microsoft Office products (i.e., Excel)
Six months of experience in a customer-facing work environment
JOB EXPECTATIONS and REQUIRMENTS:
Arrive at your place of work on time as scheduled.
Hourly employees must clock in and out using the Company’s time recording system.
Perform work safely following company safety guidelines.
Customers in the customer waiting area are greeted when they arrive and introduced to the services the Customer Ambassador provides.
Customers are engaged periodically during their visit and provided updates on the vehicle’s service.
Concerns expressed by the customer must be resolved or presented to a member of management immediately.
The lounge area must be maintained clean and trash-free, with snack areas properly stocked.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
May be standing for up to 75% of the shift with extensive time communicating with customers face-to-face. It may require lifting, pushing, or pulling weights of up to 20 lbs. Duties will be performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment.
