What are the responsibilities and job description for the EXCEPTIONAL EDUCATION - ANCILLARY EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANT position at Wilson County School District?
Qualified applicant must have minimum of high school diploma or GED. Post-secondary education is preferred.
The successful candidate will work under the directive of the Exceptional Ed teacher to which he/she is assigned and will follow all IEP goals and EA guidelines set forth by Wilson County Schools. Ancillary EAs work with one student throughout the school day.
This is a 180-day position with insurance and retirement benefits. Pay rate will be determined by education completed, experience, and placement on the Hourly Support Salary Schedule. For applicants with less than a 2-year degree (or coursework equivalent), the appropriate grade is Grade 1. For those with at least 2-year degree (or coursework equivalent), the appropriate grade is Grade 3. Starting rate of pay will be no less than $10.00 per hour.
