Carpenter/Laborer

Wilson Remodeling was started in July of 2021 by Chris Wilson a 27 year old with ambition and drive to improve on how remodeling companies conduct business for their employees, their customers, & to grow as an individual.

The company is founded on the basis of "True to Form" which represents honesty and integrity in everything we do from how we interact with our clients to how we accomplish our work.

Wilson remodeling is currently at a point of growth by nessecity. We are looking for hardworking driven individuals that want to better themselves and their position in life. Individuals that are looking for competitive pay and that is not satisfied with half ass work.

Responsibilities:

As a Wilson Remodeling employee you will be responsible for maintaining a high sense of professionalism and performing quality work to professional standards.

Must be flexible in day-to-day tasks

Work includes but is not limited to:

• Trim work (crown molding, baseboard, shoemold, door casing, & window casing
• Cabinetry Installation for kitchen & bath rooms
• Floor Installation ( Engineered, Hardwood, Tile, & Vinyl Plank)
• Siding Metal and Vinyl
• Replacement and setting of different types of doors
• Soffit Repair and Fascia Repair
• Framing of walls and Joists
• Subfloor removal and Install
• Hang drywall, paneling, FRP, Plywood etc..
• Maintain good housekeeping during projects and clean work space every day before end of day
• Maintain and care for tools and equipment properly

Skills:

• Understand safety guidelines for using power tools
• Time management for work completion
• Have a basic understanding of construction
• Willing to learn

Preferred Skills:

• Know how to install cabinets
• Cut Crown & baseboard
• Know how to install multiple types of flooring
• Can find a board stretcher
• Install Doors Properly
• Tile Installation

Requirements:

• Have reliable transportation to and from work (we will help out if needed but we do not offer a taxi service).
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must have 2 years Experience in a construction setting (preferred)
• Be able to provide at least one quality reference

Expectations:

We will never ask you to do anything we have not personally done our selves.

Our goal is to start each day on time with a positive attitude we are easy going but it is a business and we have deadlines to accomplish. That can not be done if you show up late and are in a mood.

Wilson Remodeling is about communication and honesty if you have something come up and can not make it in tell us and do not bullshit we will understand. If you have a problem talk to us about it. Our objective is to help you enjoy job.

If we do not know, we can not make adjustments.

We expect everyone to treat one another with respect all the time. As co-workers we want everyone to have a good time and in this industry we definitely have jokes. but at the end of the day you must maintain respect for your team, your company, & customers.

Perform all work with pride. If you do something and are not proud of it what is the point in doing it.

Pay:

Pay starts at $14.50

Pay is based on your possession of skills, adherence to requirements, & Experience

If you posses high quality skills you get paid higher quality money.
