What are the responsibilities and job description for the Multi Cell Operator position at Winchester Interconnect?
We have an exciting opportunity for a multicell operator on the second (4:00 pm - 12:00 am) or third shift. What is the Multicell Operator Accountable for?
- Responsible for learning and running a variety of equipment to support production cells including twinners, tape wrap machines and braiders
- Able to operate multiple pieces of equipment
- Able to use measuring tools and equipment in order to meet required tolerances
- Able to manufacture product to specification
How does the Multicell Operator Collaborate?
- The multicell operator position maintains communication with production managers, production leads, and fellow associates in order to maximize quality and output.
What is the Multicell Operator Empowered to do?
- Effective communications skills
- Ensure safe work practices and adherence to established safety procedures
- Ensure quality of work meets all required specifications
- Drive for continuous improvement
Criteria for Success:
- Mechanical ability
- Read measuring tools
- Ability to read/write work instructions, specifications
- One or more years in a Wire and Cable Manufacturing environment is a plus
