We are looking for enthusiastic professionals to join us in furthering this work (www.wsesu.org/socjus/html).Brattleboro Union High School (BUHS) is seeking a dynamic individual to serve as Assistant Principal to help provide leadership to its learning community of 800 students in grades 9 12. The successful candidate will have demonstrated a commitment to student success, served as an effective classroom teacher, demonstrated fairness and consistency in discipline, shown positive rapport with students and staff, and provided evidence of strong communication, interpersonal, and writing skills. Familiarity with the tenets of Proficiency Based Learning restorative practices and effective trauma informed practices is preferred.
The successful candidate will be able to effectively discuss how they work with and support marginalized students.
