Job Description:
As a Lead Technician, you will be responsible for overseeing and performing a wide range of cleaning and maintenance tasks on windows, surfaces, and exterior structures. In addition to performing the duties of a technician, you will lead a team, provide guidance, and ensure that the work is carried out efficiently and to the highest standards. As a Lead, you are the face of the company, and you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and communication.
Responsibilities:
1. Technical Expertise:
- Demonstrate expert knowledge and proficiency in window cleaning, pressure washing, and soft washing techniques.
- Perform all tasks related to window cleaning, pressure washing, and soft washing, including accessing heights, operating equipment, and applying appropriate cleaning agents.
- Lead by example, delivering high-quality results and maintaining attention to detail.
- Stay informed about industry trends, advancements in techniques, and new equipment to enhance the team's capabilities.
2. Team Leadership:
- Lead a team of technicians, providing guidance, training, and support.
- Assign tasks and coordinate the team's daily activities to ensure efficient scheduling and completion of projects.
- Set performance expectations, monitor progress, and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork, open communication, and a commitment to excellence.
3. Quality Control:
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure work is performed according to established standards and client expectations.
- Address any issues or areas for improvement promptly, working with the team to implement corrective actions.
- Maintain a keen eye for detail, ensuring all aspects of the job, including windows, surfaces, frames, and tracks, meet the highest level of cleanliness.
4. Customer Service:
- Interact with clients in a professional and courteous manner, addressing any concerns, inquiries, or special requests.
- Communicate the scope of work, timelines, and potential limitations to clients, providing clear and accurate information.
- Exemplify exceptional customer service, ensuring client satisfaction and building long-term relationships.
Requirements:
-MUST BE COMFORTABLE WALKING ON ROOFS: This is our one non-negociable requirement.
- Proven experience and expertise in window cleaning, pressure washing, and/or soft washing.
- Strong leadership skills and experience in leading a team of technicians.
- In-depth knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and safety protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work at heights and on ladders, adhering to safety guidelines and precautions.
- Physical fitness and the ability to handle manual labor in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering exceptional results.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
COMPENSATION:
Training Wage: We offer a competitive training wage ranging from $18 to $22 per hour. This wage provides a solid foundation as you gain the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in your role. During the training period, we will clearly communicate the expectations and skills required for progression.
Performance-Based Pay: After demonstrating competency, we transition to a performance-based pay structure. This compensation model includes a percentage of gross sales, which allows you to directly benefit from your contributions to the company's success. Your experience and position will be taken into account when determining the appropriate percentage.
