The Vice President– Sales Revenue Accountability is responsible for leading their organization in delivering revenue, operational and customer satisfaction objectives aligned to the overall corporate strategic goals. These goals will be accomplished through new sales activity, customer revenue retention, on-going improvements to customer satisfaction, and the overall customer experience. This highly visible leadership position will exemplify the customer-centric focus of Windstream Enterprise, by leading a team that will serve as proactive evangelists for the customer in order to accomplish defined objectives (revenue growth, retention of services, adoption/usage, strategic product expansion). Successful execution will yield greater sales from existing accounts and higher levels of overall retention. The ideal candidate is a strong people leader who demonstrates active listening, is incredibly responsive, detailed follow-though, flexible, and agile.
Responsibilities
Continually identifies, develops and executes a broad range of strategic initiatives to execute a customer advocacy strategy for optimal customer satisfaction resulting in retention and growth of the existing customer base:
- Strategic initiatives include
- Up-selling across various business solutions into the existing base
- Conversion of legacy products to strategic solutions
- Renewal of existing services
- Ensure attainment of revenue growth, conversion, and retention goals
- Set organizational, and team targets that drive greater revenue from existing accounts by conversion, up-selling and cross-selling.
- Develop data-driven analysis to optimize resources and ensure that business plans can be translated into financial value.
- Provide coaching and feedback to team, and across the organization to deliver ever increasing results. We are a growth business.
- Critical thinking and communication: Able to break down complex problems in a simplified way, develop innovative solutions and find creative ways to solve customers’ current and future challenges, articulate recommendations clearly and prescriptively, and effectively handle objections.
- Understand needs, requirements and/or pain points of the Customer and propose potential solutions
- Develop and/or expand C-level relationships within customer base.
- Ensure customer expectations and obligations are fulfilled and Customer is a net promoter of Windstream Enterprise and customer stories
- Provide leadership to corporate, business and/or regional management regarding the execution of business strategies.
- Help build, and manage, a territory sales and customer advocacy programs driving positive results for sales, support, and engineering teams as improving cross-functional service responsibilities.
- Work closely with internal teams: Professional Services, Customer Care, Service Delivery, Network etc. to review customer issues, challenges, and success factors
- Provide competitive intelligence for use in strategic analysis and positioning of company product offerings.
- Manage the Regional forecast to ensure accurate data is provided to executive team.
- Work closely with customer and product management to understand new requirements and upcoming product releases

- Experience in managing Elite and Enterprise level accounts, and growing talent to grow wallet share at customers.
- Up-selling and strong customer satisfaction demonstrated in a relatively truncated time frame.
- Executive level strategy, communication, execution and presentation skills are required.
- Must possess executive presence and the ability to liaise with C suite.
- An undergraduate degree is required. An advanced degree, ideally an MBA, is highly desirable.
