What You'll Do
- Processing, reviewing or approving financial transactions for CDEC team members. Inbound and outbound wires and checks, daily trades with trustee and data transmission to outside service provider.
- Begin the process of learning the 1031 business both from the operations side and the customer side. Nuances of the tax code, interacting with customers, document preparation, transaction posting, Salesforce entry and DocuPace
- Supporting and assisting team members to achieve team goals
- Process, review and approve client inbound / outbound wires and checks
- Complete daily reconciliation of DDA and security positions
- Communicate daily trades to Midwest Institutional Trust Company
- Assist with audit activity, including gathering documents and communicating with the RM teams
- Transmit daily processing to FIS and monitor results and outcome
- Learn and become proficient in the IRC Section 1031 tax deferred account process
Knowledge / Skills / Background / Experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Policy and procedure development and maintenance
- Proven superior verbal and written communication skills
- Time Management, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
