What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Services - IT Technician position at Wise Snacks?
Location: Berwick, PA
Wise Foods is looking for a Field Services - IT Technician. You will provide remote and on-site support to Wise personnel. Liaison with the ASISTE Help Desk and Wise IT Team to ensure effective and timely support to users. Identify opportunities for incident management enhancement to improve user satisfaction.
Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities:
Ensure users assistance on hardware and systems are in working order.
- SOM Management
- PC Deployments
- Assists users with the setup, replacement, troubleshooting and connectivity (to corporate email) on various smartphones, tablets, etc.
- Desk Phones
- The warehouse has handheld Zebra scanners that are used for inventory management. We handle the deployment, repairs, and maintenance of these devices.
- Process invoices against IT Budget.
- Signage Devices, these include deployment of new devices, maintenance of the devices, and displayed content updates.
- Asset Management, this includes PCs, Phones, and Printers, Handheld devices, Servers, Networking Equipment such has Switches and APs, cabling /adapters.
- Inventory Management for paper, toner, PC parts, etc.
- Process Turnovers
- Tape Library Backup Management & Restore
Liaise with corporate team on corporate supported systems and hardware.
- Putty software
- Server troubleshooting
- Network device troubleshooting
- Application troubleshooting
Manage and monitor landline, cell, PBX systems support, services, and maintenance as well as expense analysis to achieve lowest cost possible.
- Maintain physical, cloud PBX, and voice mail systems, across all locations.
- Coordinate changes to ARCA telecom for GA PBX.
- Research communication options (voice and data) for new and existing locations.
- Schedule installations, repairs, changes.
- Oversees voice and data contracts with various vendors for all corporate locations-voice, data, hardware/software, etc.
- Setup individual audio conference accounts using cost effective / reliable vendor.
- Semi Annual review of communications expenses to identify potential savings.
Train users and provide technical support regarding communication services.
- Provide advanced support on Microsoft office systems software.
- Provide support and training on Zoom meeting accounts / application for remote users.
- Provide support on video conference systems.
- Collaborate with ARCA Telecom for network support of the system.
Coordinate and Ensure copier availability, maintenance, and contracts.
- Facilitate large office copier replacements for all Wise locations.
Control expenses against departmental budget.
- Prepares invoices for payment and assigns the proper business and expense account.
- AMEX management for unexpected purchases, and monthly reconciliation
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Science or related field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as an IT Analyst
