Template Technician (Residential Construction Measurement)
About the Role:
We're looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Template Technician! In this role, you'll be responsible for measuring and creating templates (plans) for cabinets, countertops, and window coverings for our residential construction customers. You'll also play a key role in assisting other team members with daily tasks and problem-solving.
Responsibilities:
- Measure and create templates for cabinets, countertops, and window coverings
- Calculate and report square footage for each order
- Assist the Template Manager with routing and reviewing field orders
- Help team members with tasks as needed
- Assist Field Managers with solving any issues that arise
- Support installers when necessary
- Maintain your vehicle, tools, and equipment
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Basic knowledge of kitchen design, countertops, cabinets, windows, and blueprint reading
- Ability to perform basic math calculations (square footage, geometry)
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Basic problem-solving and analytical skills
