WithSecure North America has built a lucrative business across Cyber Security software products, managed services and consultancy. We have a number of Fortune 500 customers and maintained considerable growth across our portfolio. We are now looking for a dynamic regional VP of commercial who can take our business, and the local team, to the next level. This role will be in charge of leveraging both Channel Partners and direct sales in North America!
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the growth of the North American market based on sales growth leading across the full WithSecure portfolio and the success scaling of preferred Channel Partners
- Coach the team on moving prospects through the sales process, identifying the key stakeholders while mapping value and the business case
- Drive early pipeline demand generation activities through the team
- Coach the Channel team on the engagement and execution of sales strategies and marketing campaigns with key Channel Partners and the long Channel tail community
- Coach the local marketing and PR team to successfully create leads in the target customer profile groups, and extend the awareness of the WithSecure brand in North America
- Implement regular pipeline and key opportunity reviews
- Help the team to develop, understand and match key drivers within the prospect companies with likely threat actors and any geopolitical motivation.
- Understand the WithSecure value proposition and be able to tailor this in-line with prospect companies’ requirements
- Identify a carefully selected strategic prospect list and work to qualify, develop and build credibility within these organisations. Undertake this objective using a consistent and methodical approach on a day to day basis. Demonstrate constant progress.
- Monitor performance against targets on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis - providing reporting to finance and management
- Ensure proposals and contract terms are delivered in-line with the WithSecure commercial model
- Attend key prospect / customer meetings where a senior, peer-to-peer approach is required
- Recruit team members where needed to ensure the team target is achieved
- Promote a collaborative, high energy, exciting, committed office culture based on WithSecure’s Core values
- Promote a performance driven sales culture
- Provide overall North Amercian office leadership
What are we looking for?

- Experience in leading an enterprise and mid market sales team in Cyber Security consultancy services, managed services, security software, and SaaS solutions
- Experience in successfully scaling a Channel Partner community
- A proven track record of executing successful marketing strategies
- A proven track record in leading high-performance sales teams -preferably in the security, SaaS or managed service arenas
- Demonstrable track record of success in both new business and account management (renewals)
- Be able to coach the sales team with Challenger Sales / Powerbase sales methodologies
- Have a consistent and logical approach to time management and prioritisation
- Demonstrate commercial acumen and a strong customer focused approach
- Have excellent communication skills
- Demonstrate strong leadership qualities that fit into a culture of enablement

Salary Range: $200,000- $300,000 depending on experience 50% OTE
