What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender position at WKY Development LLC Oak Grove?
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepares drinks correctly at the bar for patrons and for cocktail staff.
- Assisting with the cleaning of the bar area and assisting with inventory maintenance.
- Ensure the safety and security of employees and guests .
- Responsible to perform “responsible alcohol service” with regards to patron limitations and pass any/all responsible alcohol service training.
- Other duties as assigned.
STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE
- Knowledge of all bar equipment, cash registers, and berg beverage system.
- Knowledge of sanitation and health department regulations for safe handling of alcohol.
- Maintaining interpersonal working relationship among all personnel.
- Oral and written communication skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and handle high pressure demands.
- Available to work when needed, including weekends, holidays, and nights.
EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience preferred.
- Able to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license
