I. Job Summary
Supervises daily landfill operations and landfill staff.
II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. .
- Maintain customer site as directed by the environmental facilities supervision to include but not limited to clear sewers, truck washouts and drainage culverts of debris and sediments and remains, pump maintenance and general housekeeping.
- Coordinates workflow and assignments toward the achievement of operational goals.
- Communicates on a weekly basis with the environmental department representative and site Operations, which may be a weekly report or face-to-face meeting.
- Coordinates repairs, maintenance, and inspections.
- Other duties as assigned.
III. Supervisory Responsibilities
The highest level of supervisory skills required in this job is the management of non-supervisory employees. This includes:
Direct supervision of 0 full-time employees, including operators.
IV. Qualifications
The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job.
A. Education and Experience
- Education: High School Diploma or GED (accredited)
- Experience: 4 years of relevant work experience.
B. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements
- 40-Hour HAZWOPER or the ability to obtain one within 30 days of starting.
C. Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required
- Equipment operating, health, safety and environmental regulations knowledge, and supervisory experience may be required.
