What are the responsibilities and job description for the Area Manager position at WNCSource?
POSITION SUMMARY:
This position implements program policies and procedures for the overall operation of the assigned area (multiple sites) and to provide a high quality program by following NC Pre-K guidelines, Head Start Performance Standards and the NC Department of Child Development and Early Education. The Area Manager directs and oversees all management functions to ensure quality, safety, and all applicable local/state/federal program compliance.
EDUCATION/TRAINING:
Baccalaureate degree in Early Childhood Education, Human Services or a related field with a NC Child Care Administrator Credential, Level III. Degree(s) must be from an accredited college recognized by the NC Department of Child Development and Early Education.
EXPERIENCE:
Three years of experience administering/directing a NC licensed 5-star child care facility/program. NC Pre-K experience preferred.
