We are currently seeking reliable and experienced Class A CDL Truck Drivers for local routes. As a local route driver, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and safe delivery of goods within a specific region, allowing you to be home daily.
Key Responsibilities :
- Operate a Class A commercial vehicle on designated local routes, ensuring timely delivery of goods to various customers.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs of working hours, delivery records, and vehicle service records.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members to coordinate deliveries and address any issues that arise.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe work environment.
Qualifications :
- Valid Class A CDL license.
- Minimum of 3-6 months of commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record (minor violations considered; no serious offenses within the past 5 years).
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screening.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and local traffic laws.
Additional Requirements :
- No felony or misdemeanor convictions within the past 5 years (excluding sexual offenses and murder).
