Three years of experience working in an organization similar to Wolverine Human Services; designing, developing, and managing residential client programs and clinical therapy; participating in federal, state, and local policy definition and implementation; supervising and managing staff
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement organizational strategy and lead, influence, and supervise individuals and teams of people who may or may not be direct reports
Detail oriented, well organized with strong time and project management skills
Solid leadership skills, effectively manage a high performing team, provide coaching and development
Demonstrated ability to adjust to shifting priorities, multi-task, work under pressure, and meet deadlines * Proven ability to recognize and implement opportunities for improvement and leading change
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills * Understanding of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), TCI, and Red Cross CPR and First Aid
Valid Michigan driver license and chauffeur license or ability to obtain chauffeur license
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervision of Residential Program staff
Define and implement exceptional and leading-edge client care strategies that meet and, if appropriate, exceed license and program requirements
Provide leadership direction, support, and the resources required to hold direct reports and their teams accountable to provide the best possible client services
Establish and ensure that the administrative and Residential Program policies and procedures of the Agency are implemented and take appropriate action to correct discrepancies
Ensure Residential Program decisions are based on sound financial analysis and are consistent with future growth and sustainability of the Agency
Challenge the status quo to produce new or better methods, processes, or policies that add value to the Agency
Be informed of appropriate advancements and opportunities necessary to maintain WHS’s mission
Function as mandated reporter as required by the Michigan Child Protection Law
