What are the responsibilities and job description for the SORTING OPERATOR position at Wonder Porcelain?
| 1. Must learn how to start and stop all sections of the sorting line. | |||||
| 2. Must learn alarms, and how to troubleshoot and fix each one. | |||||
| 3. Keep equipment filled with proper boxes for the product running on that line. | |||||
| 4. Keep glue and wax pots filled throughout shift. | |||||
| 5. Make sure your line is running up to spec on all aspects. (label, tile printer, box) | |||||
| 6. Must be able to load and unload boxes/items from carts, lines, as needed. | |||||
| 7. Report any unsafe issues to your supervisor immediately. MUST WEAR APPROPRIATE PPE. | |||||
| 8. Pay attention to remove defective tile from line. | |||||
| 9. Read and interpret gauges on machine. | |||||
| 10. Record all data from machine and complete daily paperwork as specified by your supervisor. | |||||
| 11. Be able to read, write and to have basic math and computer | |||||
| skills. Ability to operate mechanical equipment and perform basic | |||||
| mechanical functions. Be able to make decisions on his/her own. | |||||
| 12. Must have good listening and communication skills and work well with other team members. | |||||
| 13. Be willing to work with others in different departments as needed or required. | |||||
| Always be willing to be a Team player with everyone in or out of your department. | |||||
| 14. Keep the work area safe and organized at all times. | |||||
| 15. Keep work area free of clutter, perform housekeeping daily. | |||||
| Any other tasks as assigned by supervisor. |

Wed: 7am-1pm
Shift B:
($1 Shift Differential)
Wed: 1pm- 7pm
Thu-Sat: 7am-7pm
Shift C:
($2 Differential)
Sun-Tues: 7pm-7am
Wed: 7pm-1am
Shift D:
($2 Differential)
Thu: 1am-7am
Thu: Sat 7pm-7am
