Job Posting for Game Designer at Wonder Works Studio
Wonder Works Studio: Where Imagination Comes to Play!
We use imagination, collaboration, and innovation to create the best experiences on next-generation social gaming platforms like Roblox.
Full-time, on-site position located in DFW Metroplex (Arlington, TX). Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.
We are looking for a Game Designer who has worked on at least two professionally released and internally developed game projects on mobile, PC, or console.
Wonder Works is building a wide range of games for various audiences. If you want to work in a fast-paced, agile and diverse environment, with the opportunity to learn new skills and technologies, please consider applying.
We are looking for a game designer who does not have a specialty and enjoys being able to contribute in all areas of game design. You can do a bit of narrative design, some systems design, level design—anything. It’s okay not to be equally good at all these, but familiarity is necessary. You may need to do any and all of these as we move faster into making new and innovative games.
You also need to be skilled at the basics. We need crisp GDDs with just enough written for the rest of the team to get iterating. We need high-level collaboration between the designers and art, development, animation, clients, and above all, each other.
We are especially seeking people with experience developing for and playing Roblox.
