What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cash Room Attendant position at WonderWorks?
WonderWorks Panama City Beach is looking for a Cash Room Attendant to join our team! WonderWorks is an indoor amusement park for the mind with 40,000 square feet of “edu-tainment”. The attraction combines education and entertainment with more than 100 hands-on exhibits that challenge the mind and spark the imagination.
The Cash Room Attendant concentrates on the handling of money on a shift-to-shift basis. Cash Room Attendants are responsible for interacting with guests, handle cash and coins, verify balances are accurate and maintain company values.
Responsibilities:
- Balance the company safe at the beginning of each shift.
- Verify the register tills from previous day of business.
- Develop register tills for that immediate day's business.
- Verify coupon counts and sort types of coupons.
- Maintain company cash room standards.
- Withdraws monies from bank and keeps custody of operating funds or retains next day’s operating funds from daily receipts.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Ability to stand, walk, use hands and/or fingers to operate register, and lift and/or move up to 25 pounds amid a moderate to loud work environment.
- Conservational skills to recognize guest needs and ensure guest happiness.
- Our ideal candidate will be able to work any shift including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Previous themed entertainment and sales experience is preferred.
