Summary
The QC Tech is responsible for ensuring the on-time delivery of highest quality, error-free video and audio masters and replication masters for all formats of our courses. The QC Tech’s goal is to maximize the educational experience of the customer by providing a quality viewing and listening experience for video and audio product by assuring that the delivery of all media is in alignment with Wondrium quality standards.
Essential functions

- Collect and deliver assets for file delivery to over a dozen partners with correct file types, naming structure, and uploading process (http, Aspera, ftp)
- Review all master media as it relates to content, technical quality, and file integrity for all deliverables
- Spot check all deliverable media files for download, streaming, and DVD/CDs against strict QC parameters
- Document any content, grammatical, style, or technical errors in all deliverables
- Perform additional editing tasks as needed
- Create and deliver closed captioning for all deliverables in alignment to FCC’s quality standards
- Collaborate with Production Team on style and elements used in each course
- Research new tools in technology and production
- Use FileMaker and other available tools to help define processes for quality control, production, and innovation

Work Environment
- This is a remote position with possible in-office attendance as requested by management.
Physical Demands
The physical requirements of this position are described as sedentary work. Sedentary work involves:
- Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects
- Sitting most of the time
- Walking and standing are required only occasionally
Required Education and Experience
- Coachable
- Video editing/ Marketing
- B.A./B.S. in television/radio/video production; or HS diploma, technical certification, college courses or military electronics training with equivalent experience
- 1-3 years (College graduates with studio/AV experience)
- Experience with video mastering, audio and/video quality assurance experience, digital signal processing
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, MacCaption
- Experience and demonstrated knowledge of electronics and computer skills
- Demonstrated ability to learn new software and processes
- Strong team player
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
- Excellent attention to detail
- Understanding of basic grammar and Chicago style writing
Preferred Education and Experience
FAST Logic like Disney , Pluto, Tubi, Telestream Advantage.
