Wood Health Company, subsidiary of Wood County Hospital, is now accepting applications for a Corporate Billing Manager. The Corporate Billing Manager provides personal care and professional excellence for Wood Health Company by supervising the patient accounts process at all corporate sites and the central billing office.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Directly manages the CBO staff.
- Monitors the outstanding A/R balances ensuring they are meeting best practice goals; develop workflows to mitigate negative impacts on financials.
- Sets goals of the CBO staff on best practice standards in relation to their job duties.
- Evaluates and supervises the refund process.
- Maintains and implements updates to the Practice Management side of the EMR system; ensuring accuracy and automation of processes that directly impact the revenue cycle.
- Subject matter expert on building and interpreting financial reports in the Practice Management software.

Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent required
Preferred Experience:
- Revenue cycle functionality, claims formatting, and SIM management experience preferred
- Systems management/Superuser qualifications preferred
