Overview / Responsibilities:
Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood is required.
Wood is currently sourcing for an Equipment Operator to work on a project in Bloomfield, NM. Must live in a 50 mile radius of the facility.

- Experienced in operating heavy, motorized equipment used in earth moving operations, including, but not limited to, tankers, dozers scraper, loaders, excavator, etc. and other equipment to support a variety of heavy civil construction operations.
- Can use hand-held mobile radio units to coordinate tasks and resources.
- Can perform a variety of skilled construction and maintenance tasks
- Can perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods in unfavourable weather conditions
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing or via radio
- Can perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment and refer defects or repairs to supervisor; clean equipment.

- Ability to work 55-60 hours a week on a regular basis
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Ability to work with and assist crew in hoisting material, tools, equipment, and any related work with a backhoe, fork lift, or front-end loader
- Ability to read and interpret maps, sketches, drawings, specifications and technical manuals
- Understands and follows oral and written instructions
- Works independently in the absence of supervision
