Overview / Responsibilities
Wood Pharma and Life Sciences are seeking the services of a M&E Engineer to support various Projects on a client site in Worthing.
The Role
Provide engineering trade support within field of expertise
- Receive and complete Merps generated maintenance works
- Support decommissioning activity as instructed
- Uphold team behaviours and culture in line with the departmental code of conduct
- Escalate issues to supervisor or engineering Team Leader as appropriate in a timely manner
SAFETY
- Develop Risk assessments and Method Statements for all tasks before undertaking
- Work safely at all time, reporting any safety issues to the team
- Raise and investigate safety issues (EHS Central) as
- Comply with all site and departmental safety procedures and
- Raise/Countersign permit to work as appropriate
COMPLIANCE
- Comply with all GMP procedures and completed all GMP documentation
- Compliance with applicable GSK standards and
CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT
- Inspect contractors work during decommissioning and prior to handover
Skills / Qualifications
Essential:
- Recognized indentured apprenticeship / formal recognized qualification in an appropriate engineering discipline
Desirable:
- Computer literate
- Good interpersonal skills
- Flexible approach
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work in a highly-regulated environment
- Willingness to learn and take on additional roles
- Able to work in multidisciplinary teams
- Strong fault finding approach to true root causes
