Key Responsibilities:
- Equipment Operation: Utilize your extensive knowledge and experience to expertly operate, control, and monitor various equipment and processes in the oilfield production plant. This includes pumps, compressors, separators, heaters, and other machinery involved in the production process.
- Production Optimization: Analyze production data and make informed decisions to optimize extraction and processing procedures. Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and implement best practices to enhance productivity.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues that may arise during production operations. Work closely with the maintenance team to address equipment malfunctions promptly and minimize downtime.
- Safety Leadership: Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety by adhering to and promoting strict safety protocols and guidelines. Lead by example to foster a culture of safety and compliance within the production team.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Regularly monitor and record production data, including flow rates, pressures, temperatures, and other critical parameters. Generate comprehensive reports to communicate production performance to management and stakeholders.
- Emergency Response: Act as a key resource during emergency situations, leading the team in implementing shutdown procedures, coordinating evacuations, and promptly reporting incidents.
- Environmental Stewardship: Ensure strict compliance with environmental regulations and guidelines throughout all production activities. Implement measures to minimize environmental impact and contribute to sustainable operations.
- Mentorship and Training: Share your knowledge and experience with less-experienced operators to enhance their skills and foster their professional growth. Participate in training programs and support the development of the production team.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with engineers and other team members to identify areas for process improvement, cost reduction, and operational efficiency enhancements.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; relevant technical certifications or vocational training in oil and gas operations is preferred.
- Proven track record as an experienced oilfield plant operator or in a related role within the oil and gas industry.
- In-depth knowledge of oilfield production processes, equipment operations, and safety protocols.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build positive working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Willingness to work in physically demanding conditions and withstand exposure to outdoor elements and hazardous environments.
- Flexibility to work in rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Salary : $44,400 - $56,300
