Wood has an exciting opportunity to join our award winning resourcing team as a Resourcer, based in our Aberdeen office
The successful candidate will work in close partnership with our Senior Recruiter on the Consulting part of the business, with a focus on candidate generation and attraction and will reduce time to hire by proactively building candidate pipelines for current and future vacancies
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain job postings on internal and external sites and portals ensuring compliance with Wood’s global job advert and employer brand, including social media posts
- Sift all advertising responses to ensure that all candidates are responded to and progressed as applicable
- Shortlist resumes for suitability of skills and experience in relation to vacancy requirements. Pre-screen candidates and present to Recruiters to progress with Hiring Managers
- Manage broadcasting and posting requisitions in iCIMS global recruiting system (ATS)
- Post jobs according to local government requirement; for example, US jobs posted to diversity locations to ensure EEO compliance
- Assist Recruiters in researching additional posting locations as needed
- Participate in team meetings and maintain regular communication with all applicable team members related to priority openings, future staffing initiatives and status of all applicants in process
- Assist recruiting team members with scheduling, logistics and candidate communication
- Conduct CV searches on various job boards and professional networking sites to source candidates for a variety of roles, at all levels
- Create proactive candidate pipelines within the ATS for specific functions / disciplines
- Assist with the planning and execution of events such as interview days and career fairs
- Take the lead on recruitment process for specified junior level or administrative positions as assigned
- Serve as a dependable point of contact for candidates, recruiters and hiring managers

- Maintain accurate documentation on all candidates, to ensure a robust and thorough audit trail
- Take part in special projects in an effort to further develop a best in class recruiting function
- Ensures consistent alignment to company values and behaviours
Skills / Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Degree level qualification desirable but not essential
Knowledge, skills and experience:
- Dedicated to achieving results
- Technical proficiency with Outlook, MS Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Experience of using ATS would be advantageous
- Excellent telephone and customer relation skills
- Ability to provide accurate and efficient service under the pressure of constant deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies
- Proactive problem solver and ability to multi task
- Ability to find better, faster ways to achieve results through use of technology and collaboration
