QUALIFICATIONS:
1. High School Diploma
2. Exempleary interpersonal, communication, technology, organizational, clerical skills.
ESSENTIAL PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Reception duties
2. Collect attendance and follow up phone calls related to attendance
3. Xeroxing
4. Fill supply requisitions for teachers and staff
5. Inventory supply orders
6. Typing and filing of purchase orders as requested by the principal
7. Registration of new students
8. Distribution of new student records to teachers and nurse
9. Removal of transferring students from appropriate lists
10. Completion of permanent record card
11. Send records of transferring students to requesting school
12. Distribution of papers to teachers and students
13. Distribution of mail to teachers and staff
14. Compiles ADA/AMA
15. Refers students with attendance problems to School Principal
16. Compiles and posts daily student attendance.
17. Contacts parents of students not in compliance with attendance policy
18. Substitutes for nurse for minor items in the absence of the nurse or health assistant
19. Assists parents in retrieving their children to pick the child up from school
20. Maintains Xerox machine and responsible for addition paper to the machine.
21. Perform such other tasks and assume such other responsibilities as assigned by the principal
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Technical:
- Manages school records in accordance with Illinois School Student Records Act, providing efficient retrieval of information and other related archival responsibilities
- Maintains the daily environment of the school office facility and supplies
- Utilizes existing technology effectively in the performance of duties
- Computer literacy and competency in use of existing technology
Interpersonal:
- Maintains contact with a professional nursing organization and utilizes continuing education opportunities to enhance professional knowledge
- Participates as an active member of the school community, representing health/wellness
- Performs other such duties and assumes other such responsibilities as may be assigned by the School Principal or Associate Superintendent of Education

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Manual Dexterity: Work requires definite skilled and accurate physical operations requiring some closely coordinated performance.

Working Conditions: Some exposure to definitely disagreeable elements may exist.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: June 10, 2024 - July 3, 2024: Monday thru Friday; 8:30 a.m.- 3:00 p.m.
SALARY RANGE: Starting $15.03 per hour. (Current District 50 employees in this position will be paid their current rate of pay.)
