Woodside Raquet Club is in a great location in Westwood KS next to The Country Club Plaza with a vibrant membership. We are searching for a Junior Tennis Coordinator to work with juniors and adults in our growing program. The right individual will work with our G.O. Academy and High School players. Understanding the development of players will be important as well as the ability to recruit new players. This individual will also work in our adult program from Cardio Tennis to Advanced 4.0 - 4.5 players while being able to build a clientele within a large club. We are looking for someone with a team mindset that is willing to work with other coaches and departments in a team culture. Off court duties include but not limited to the ability to use a computer, submit participation reports, ability to follow up with members. USPTA certification and the willingness to grow, learn and teach others will serve this person well.
Compensation to include salary, on court hourly clinic, private lesson percentage, split of special events and company benefits.

Duties / Responsibilities
• Establishes and enforces club tennis policies and procedures regarding play on club courts
• Creates new programs that generate a positive member experience
• Communicates with all adult and junior participants and parents
• Responds to participants, members and applicable non-members via email, telephone and face-to-face in a timely manner
• Maintains and updates contact/attendance listing for all adult, junior players and parents and private lessons
• Works with Marketing Department to appropriately market tennis facilities and programs to junior and adult players, ensuring all promotional, marketing and communication efforts are consistent, professional and reflective of the Woodside brand
• Develops and promotes junior tennis clinics and meets budgeted private lessons
• Creates cross-marketing events between club departments, when possible
• Administers and officiates tennis tournaments, exhibitions and inter- and intra-club events
• Consistently maintains an accurate record of all lessons and clinics and ensures that all member and non-member charges for lessons and/or sessions have been charged in club software system
• Ensures that all members and guests receive courteous, prompt and professional attention to all their tennis needs
• Performs new member tennis evaluations
• Submits bi-weekly reporting of program and/or event status to the Director of Tennis
• Maintains a close working relationship with other tennis professionals and with staff in other departments
• Maintains continuing education as necessary to keep with the tennis industry standards
• Maintains clean, organized and visually appealing areas in and around all tennis courts
• Complies with Club’s employee handbook manual, departmental policies and procedures and with all applicable federal and state employment laws
• Participates and fulfills all requirements set forth in the Continuing Education Curriculum (Woodside University) Program
• Completes all other duties as directed/assigned
