We are currently seeking a motivated, detail-oriented associate for an Administrative Assistant position in our Personal Trust and Wealth Management department.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
As an Administrative Assistant, you will:
- Support Private Trust Officers and other team members to ensure client needs are being met
- Perform detailed work necessary to support the administration of accounts
- Provide consistent, exceptional client service in both written and verbal communication
- Provide consistently superior service by exceeding clients’ expectations while understanding and complying with company policies, state statutes and governmental regulations
- Participate, as needed, in client meetings as a key relationship team member
- Perform account administrative functions and client service requirements for Trusts, Agencies, IRAs and other related accounts assuring the specific requirements outlined in the account/trust agreement are fulfilled
- Complete preliminary and ongoing work, as directed, related to recurring and discretionary distributions
This position supports the Trust Officers responsible for the management and administration of assigned relationships and accounts where the company acts in the capacity of guardian, personal representative, trustee or agent. You will collaborate with the Trust Officer and other team members in all aspects of client relationships. Effective client communication and relationship-building is necessary to ensure client needs are met and exceeded. Education or past experience should reflect this interest.
The Administrative Assistant will report directly to our Chief Trust Officer and will have significant interaction with other members of the client service team.
It is essential to observe the strictest discretion and confidentiality on the subject of accounts and activities of any kind of dealing with the bank and maintain a high level of enthusiasm and client awareness while conveying our confidence in the bank and the services that are offered.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and customer service experience. A two-year Associate’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or para-legal is a plus.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite; ability to adapt and utilize other forms of technology.
The position involves acquiring knowledge and experience in a broad range of financial, estate planning, trust administration, investment and insurance products and services. As a key relationship assistant, the associate must understand and function productively within a team concept and be able to adapt to a fluid environment. Other beneficial qualities include assertiveness, ability to make timely decisions as well as follow- through on directions.
