Woodview Home LTC/SNF nursing facility in Ardmore, OK.
Must have current LPN or RN license with the state of Oklahoma.
The ideal candidate will be organized, efficient, detail-oriented and able to think quickly under pressure.
The primary purpose of the Scheduling Coordinator is to ensure adequate and appropriate staffing of the facility nursing department to meet the needs of the residents based on budget, census and as directed by facility administration. In doing so that may require the Staffing Coordinator to work as a charge nurse or nurse aide if other arrangements can not be made. Confirm license/certification and current standing with state approved agencies for all new hires prior to orientation date; maintain records of current certifications/licenses for nursing department employees. Collaborate with nursing leadership and human resources for the onboarding of new nursing team members and assure sufficient time is allocated for successful orientation. Provide newly hired nursing personnel with an orientation schedule and assign a staff member to mentor new team members and provide relevant orientation. Assist employees in accurate completion of forms pertinent to scheduling and staffing. Monitor nursing team members for signs of caregiver burnout or unsafe practices in accordance with facility policies. Others duties as deemed necessary and appropriate or as directed by the Director of Nursing.
The primary purpose of the Staff Development Coordinator is to plan, organize, develop and direct all in-service education programs throughout the facility in accordance with current applicable federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations and as directed by the Administrator and Director of Nursing to assure that the highest degree of quality resident care can be maintained at all times. Assist in standardizing the methods in which work will be accomplished. Develop, direct and schedule orientation programs for newly hired personnel. Ensure that all personnel attend and participate in bi-weekly facility in-service training programs. Advertising open positions and coordinating interviews with potential staff members. Others duties as deemed necessary and appropriate or as directed by the Director of Nursing.
