The Parks Hand Crew employee will be an essential member of Woodward Park City's, Parks and Innovative Environments team, reporting to the Woodward Park City Parks Supervisor. The successful applicant will add in supporting builds and maintenance efforts to create reasonably safe, innovative, and constant terrain produced by the Parks, Innovative Environments team. While safely operating and maintaining assigned parks.

- Assist in maintenance, repairs and construction of parks.
- Support Snowmaking plan
- Install and maintain Terrain Park signage, closures, trail markings, fencing and banners
- Supply quality and productive feed back to the team.
- Conduct daily safety and maintenance checks of parks, innovative environments
- Complete daily logs
- Safely operate equipment assigned
- Understand and communicate "Your Responsibility Code" and "Smart Style" to our guests
- Daily trash and debris pick up and removal.
- Report injuries to ski patrol and assist when needed. Help secure site.
- Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment and learn new skills as needed.
- Support operations as needed.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- Physical Capabilities: bend, twist, push, pull, stand, lift 50lbs.
- Must be comfortable working in an outdoor all season environment.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Ability to work overnight shifts.
- Ability to ski/snowboard to locations on the mountain as needed.
- Willing to travel as needed.
- Due to the sensitive nature of this position, a criminal background check will be conducted after position is accepted.
- 1-2 ski area operations experience
- 1-2 years freestyle terrain experience
- Basic understanding of snowmaking
- Four-year college degree is preferred
- Proven ability to collaborate well across functions and departments, to work as part of a team, and to lead teams in achieving goals.
