woom bikes is looking for a talented, creative, and results-oriented Email Marketing Manager to join our eCommerce team. As an Email Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for managing and scaling our email campaigns and flows, helping us to communicate the right message to the right person, at the right time and frequency. This person will also support our eCommerce marketing initiatives related to customer lifecycle management, new campaign launches and brand initiatives.
Job Duties:
- Day-to-day management of email campaigns including design and copy reviews, structuring A/B testing, scheduling deliveries, managing marketing calendar and reporting on results
- Strategize and execute campaigns end-to-end that make an impact at different stages of the customer lifecycle to drive awareness, engagement, and retention
- Develop a comprehensive plan to grow email marketing lists via lead generation
- Develop automated flows as a part of the customer pre-purchase and post-purchase journey to influence customer behavior and build customer loyalty
- Compose creative briefs that clearly communicate business objectives, best practices, considerations for engaging content, and desired results
- Partner with creative and content teams to develop rich email experiences that create engagement, build trust, and drive sales
- Be an expert in our email marketing performance, reviewing it on an ongoing basis and providing recommendations for improvements and quick-win optimizations
- Develop a comprehensive email testing plan to drive optimal results, communicating results out to the business and incorporating learnings into future work.
- Understand the customer life stage and target marketing activities across the customer journey and buying cycle.
- Identify and segment audiences for email marketing campaigns
- QA emails for clarity, grammar, spelling, and appearance across devices
- Ensure email marketing campaigns stay current with best practices (mobile-friendly, dark mode, accessibility, etc)
- Analyze campaign performance and regularly report on performance, including conversions and revenue driven by email marketing campaigns
- Evolve nurture strategies to incorporate additional touchpoints like SMS
- Stay on top of industry trends and best practices, competitive landscape and explore ways to apply these findings
Email Marketing Manager Requirements and Qualifications:
- 3 years relevant experience managing email campaigns and flows on email marketing platforms such as Klaviyo, Hubspot, Constant Contact etc.
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS is preferred
- Proven success in A/B testing at every stage of the email marketing process
- Extremely organized and efficient, with strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize in fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines
- A positive, driven and proactive mentality
Nice to Have, But Not Required:
- BS or BA in Marketing, Communications, Advertising or related degree
- Experience working with Klaviyo
- Google Analytics certification
- Experience with direct to consumer brand
