Job Summary
The Human Resources Coordinator will be the primary point of contact for the employees assigned to their group of accounts. The individual in this role will provide day to day human resources operational support as needed or required by the employees in assigned groups. The individual will be the first point of contact for employee issues, basic benefits and 401k questions, company policies and other areas associated with the Human Resources Department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Supports managers and drivers with routine, day to day HR inquiries.
- First point of contact for driver issues. Tracks and reports on types of issues from their group to the HR Director and Regional Vice President.
- Handles low level driver (employee) relations issues.
- Assists Director with the creation of corrective actions.
- Responsible for orientation for their respective group.
- Hires new drivers into the systems for their respective group.
- Terminates (system) drivers as needed for their respective group.
- Manages transfers between accounts as necessary.
- Completes driver upgrades when required.
- Manages and processes unemployment claims as they are filed.
- Responds to basic benefits and 401k questions and forwards to the Benefits Department, if appropriate.
- Processes PTO requests.
- Manages the puppy program.
- Administers Passenger Policy.
- Responds to Workhound issues, as needed.
- Completes employment verifications, as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in HR, Business Administration or related field required.
- Knowledge of human resource database software preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- ADP Workforce Now experience preferred.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
