At WCRI, we provide objective analysis, and factual, policy-relevant reporting on the vast network of state-based legal frameworks, health care providers, insurance markets, and administrative mechanisms which affect the lives of every American covered by workers’ compensation. This position is important for the future success of WCRI, ensuring the business operations of WCRI run smoothly.
The Administrative Manager reports to the President and CEO and will be responsible for the efficient operation of all administrative functions, including monitoring details of benefits plans, tracking performance plans and review processes in coordination with supervisors, facilities management, annual insurance renewals, participation in annual budgeting process and monthly monitoring to adhere to budgets, and other business processes.
This is a new position at WCRI; WCRI is a smaller organization and this position does not supervise staff but works closely with supervisors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent of education plus relevant experience
- 5 years of progressive administrative management experience, including demonstrated achievement in managing the operations of a business or in a related field required
- Experience demonstrating capacity to respond to shifting and fluid priorities
- Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office and Excel
- Experience exercising diplomacy in communications and interpersonal relations; poised confidence in dealing effectively with multiple constituencies at senior levels
- Experience evaluating problems thoroughly, showing resourcefulness in identifying solutions, and displaying sound judgment
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
