Job Summary The Data Integration Consultant interfaces with customers' technical teams to listen and gather customer requirements for needed reporting requirements. Working closely with customers and internal teams from Sales, Product Development, and Customer Success, the Data Integration Consultant creates repeatable process workflows to meet customer needs. The role is responsible for listening to customer challenges and gathering customer requirements to develop automation and integration of data and processes to enable our customers to better leverage Workiva products. Responsibilities The Data Integration Consultant interacts with customers to determine their needs and develops solutions with current Workiva products to meet those needs Consults with customers to determine their challenges and requirements Creates custom demo solutions for customers and prospective customers Provides project and relationship management to large customers with broader needs Configure data integration workflows from customer systems of record to Workiva products Design queries to facilitate reporting requirements Document the ETL process from customer systems to reporting systems Collects feedback and learnings from custom service engagements to be leveraged in fixed scope, fixed fee services Directly interfaces with customers and demonstrates complex solutions Collects feedback from the field and provides it to Product Marketing and Product Development Strong knowledge of Workiva products through a commitment to ongoing training What You'll Need Education Undergraduate Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field. Skills Familiarity with data structure and schemas from various ERP, GRC, GL, FP&A or Analytics and Reporting solutions Ability to understand the ETL process Understanding of API design philosophy/patterns, communication protocols (SOAP, REST, JSON, XML) and encoding Ability to create advanced queries using SQL Ability to build internal and external relationships, partnerships and business development Ability to gain comprehensive knowledge of Workiva applications General computer technology skills to include Word, Excel and PowerPoint Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Ability to influence at all levels and in various departments Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, changing environment Proven problem solving skills, technical capacity, and business acumen Self-motivated and able to work autonomously Proven success with customer service Detail-oriented and organized Experience 3 years of experience in a related field Travel Requirements Up to 50% to meet with customers, vendors, suppliers or attend trade shows Working Conditions & Physical Requirements Reliable internet access for any period of time working remotely, not in a Workiva office. How You’ll Be Rewarded Base Pay Range in Colorado: $76,000 - $98,000 Restricted Stock Units granted at time of hire A discretionary bonus typically paid annually Monthly Phone Stipend 401(k) Match The base pay range represents the low and high end of the hiring range for this job. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to relevant skills, experience, and capabilities.
