Position Description:
A Flare Consultant in the oil and gas industry plays a crucial role in managing and optimizing flare systems.
- 3 years of experience as a flare tech who has worked directly for the following flare/combustion manufacturers: Flare King, Cimarron or Zeezo.
- Responsible for designing and optimizing flare systems to ensure they operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with environmental regulations. This includes selecting appropriate flare types, sizing flare tips, and configuring flare gas recovery systems.
- Ensures that all flare operations comply with local, national, and international environmental regulations. This includes monitoring emissions, ensuring proper waste gas handling, and maintaining records for regulatory reporting.
- Conducts risk assessments to identify potential hazards associated with flare systems. Implements safety protocols and emergency response procedures to mitigate risks. Ensures all operations adhere to industry safety standards.
- Provides technical support for flare system operations. Troubleshoots and resolves operational issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.

Pay: $33.00 - $37.00 per hour
