Description
WorkSmart is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Executive to join our sales team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of closing new business in the technology field for the last 3 years. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to understand and meet client needs.
Core Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the managed IT services sector.
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified prospects.
- Conduct thorough needs analysis and present tailored IT solutions to potential clients.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
- Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful client onboarding and satisfaction.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and WorkSmart’s service offerings.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven track record of closing new business in the technology field.
- Strong understanding of managed IT services and technology solutions.
- Strong understanding of Account Based Marketing (ABM) strategy and tactics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with a strong drive to succeed.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in selling managed IT services or similar technology/cloud solutions.
- Knowledge of the latest technology trends and developments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with sales tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo.io, & HubSpot or equivalent
You'll also need:
- Excellent communication (written and oral) skills
- Excellent documentation and record-keeping skills
- The desire and ability to learn new technology
This is a hybrid position. Employees will work both on-site and remotely.
