What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Technician position at WorkStaffing?
Responsibilities:
· Perform regular checks on in-process and finished products by established test methods
· Evaluate compliance in regards to regulatory and customer specification for product weight
· Perform quality testing using laboratory measuring equipment – aW, pH and moisture
· Calibration of equipment
· Documentation and communication of inspection results
· Monitor metal detector to ensure operating correctly
· Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
Environmental Conditions: This is a food manufacturing environment – temperature extremes, flour dust and noise.
This job is 12 hour days. Once trained, you will have one day off during the week and weekends off. We will, on occasion, work a Saturday. It all depends on orders. The hours are:
1st Shift:
Monday – 4:30 am to 3:30 pm. Tuesday through Friday – 3:15 am to 3:30 pm.
2nd Shift:
Monday – Thursday 3:30 pm to 3:30 am. Friday is usually a Sanitation day. This will require inspecting and testing equipment for cleanliness. Cleaning restrooms, break rooms, offices, etc. Calibrating thermometers and going through retain products.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
