Summary:
TheDirector, Food & Beverage/Executive Chef is responsible for overseeing allaspects of the food and beverage operations for Wilmington Equestrian Center.This includes developing and implementing menus, overseeing all culinaryoperations, managing the food and beverage team, and ensuring high levels ofguest satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
-Develop and implement menus for all food and beverage outlets in the hotel,including restaurants, bars, and banquets.
- Ensure all menus meet brand and quality standards while incorporating currentculinary trends.
- Oversee all culinary operations, including food preparation, presentation,and delivery.
- Manage the food and beverage team, including hiring, training, and schedulingstaff members.
- Ensure all staff members are following proper food handling and safetystandards.
- Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers for food and beverageproducts.
- Monitor and manage food and beverage costs, ensuring profitability whilemaintaining guest satisfaction.
- Work with the sales team to develop and implement catering and banquet menusthat meet the needs of clients.
- Collaborate with other departments in the hotel to ensure food and beverageoperations are running smoothly.
- Monitor guest feedback and ensure any issues are addressed in a timelymanner.
- Ensure all food and beverage outlets are compliant with health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
-Bachelor’s degree in culinary arts or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in food and beverage management.
- Certified Executive Chef (CEC) certification preferred.
- Proven track record of developing menus and managing culinary operations.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other departments in the hotel.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food and beverageoperations.
- Creativity and innovation in menu development and presentation.
PhysicalDemands:
TheDirector, Food & Beverage/Executive Chef position requires standing andwalking for extended periods of time, as well as occasional lifting andcarrying of heavy objects.
