Job Description
We are seeking a Business Analyst for our Space Tourism and Exploration team help right-size and plan future Spaceports and venues. You will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing budgets and P L, conduct feasibility studies, and other task associated with the planning of Spaceports.
Role Responsibilities
- Key member of a committee driving the development of our Tourism and Exploration business model
- Model flights, predict occupancy, anticipate demand, and define seasonality
- Forecast and predict revenue streams
- Model labor costs and conduct feasibility studies for Spaceports and related venues
- Work alongside the Worldview Executive team and roll out, model, and make recommendations the annual budgeting based on business plan needs
- Work alongside the Worldview Executive team and perform financial revenue, cost, headcount, and CAPEX forecasting analysis
- Work alongside finance team and executive team to maintain and updated five-year operation plan
- Provides detailed financial analysis and reports of expenses and revenues, includes breakdowns of project costs by expense category and departments, forecasts of remaining expenses
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual KPI and BVA analysis and publish accordingly to Company executives via dashboards
Qualifications
- 3 years experience in hotel and hospitality industry
- Prior experience in an analyst role with a large hotel or consulting firm
- Understanding of business financials and documents
- Enthusiastic team player who is comfortable performing and managing a versatile workload
- Organized and able to prioritize work and tasks
- Experience supporting and working with c-level executives and business owners
- Demonstrates high attention to detail, a commitment to accuracy and thoroughness
- Tech savvy
- Delivers effective and professional communications; verbally, written, and over the phone
- Exercises discretion and diplomacy at all times
